Many state medical societies operate confidential peer support lines. Check your state medical society website for details.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

If your hospital or group has an EAP, you can often access short-term counseling anonymously.

If You’re Outside the U.S.

Call your local emergency number (often 112 or 999) or contact your country’s crisis line. Your local health ministry or Red Cross site will usually list numbers by region.

Safety & Privacy Tips

  • If you share a device, clear recent calls or messages after contacting a hotline, if that’s safer for you.
  • If you can’t speak safely, consider texting 988 or asking a trusted person to call for you.
  • If you are on-call or at work, step to a private area before calling when possible.

Our practice provides non-emergency therapy by appointment. For confidential, non-urgent questions about care, use the secure contact form or call 706-452-4582.
